One thing I’m seeing a lot in my sales calls is “unbalanced adoption” of Notion within teams.
Essentially, one team has gone full speed ahead while others are still catching up or not touching it all.
The common thing I see in these cases is that onboarding onto Notion was rushed - there was no strategy, adoption rollout strategy or training, with people essentially being left to fend with themselves.
When building Notion for teams, you are essentially designing software and so you need to follow the same process: goals → discovery → roadmap → back-end architecture & permissions → front-end → training → iteration.
With Notion being such an unstructured platform, without this process, you are likely to fail - especially in large teams.
