Scaling, scaling, scaling. That is truthfully what’s on my mind at the moment.
Is much as I enjoy doing custom builds for clients, I’m quickly reaching the point where I realise that I enjoy the educating side of it more than the building side of it. Unless it’s problem-solving something completely new, most Notion workspaces I can more or less build in my sleep - tasks, projects, docs, meetings and people - isn’t it funny how most of “work” can be boiled down to these things?
That being said, there is a lot of nuance involved when doing bespoke builds. You almost have to “feel out” your client and build for their personality. I often say that 60% of my job is actually being a therapist, all of which can drain your battery quite rapidly.
So here starts this mission of teaching people to “think in Notion” - watch this space.
